Daily Commuter Shuttles (Weekdays)
SIP provides round-trip transportation to and from UCSC’s main campus for commuting students. Morning pickups and afternoon drop-offs occur Monday through Friday.
North Route:

Weekly Friday Departures
For students returning home on weekends, shuttles depart UCSC Friday afternoons and resume Monday mornings.
- Friday North Shuttle:
- To Sunnyvale Caltrain + UCSC Silicon Valley Extension
- Departs UCSC at 4:30 PM
- Friday South Shuttle:
- To Watsonville High School
- Departs UCSC at 4:30 PM
- Monday Morning Loop:
- Single vehicle loops from all stops (North + South)
- Arrives at UCSC by 8:30 AM
Monday/Wednesday/Friday Off-Campus Research Shuttle
Students with research projects off-campus are provided transportation to Westside Santa Cruz locations:
Route:
- UCSC → 2300 Delaware Ave → 130 McAllister Way → 100 McAllister Way
- Return trips reverse the route
Departure: 9:00 AM Return: 4:00 PM
Monday & Friday Off-Campus Research Shuttle
SIP provides round-trip shuttle service for students conducting off-campus research at the UCSC Silicon Valley Extension (UNEX). Shuttles run Mondays and Fridays between the UCSC main campus and the Silicon Valley Extension.

We provide one-way airport transportation.
- Arrival (June 22):
- SFO & SJC → UCSC campus
- Pickups at 12 PM and 6 PM

- UCSC → SFO & SJC

Field Trip Transportation
SIP hosts field trips throughout the summer with transportation provided.
Interns who take the daily shuttle will also be able to leave later on field trip days.
On the following dates, the daily shuttle will depart later from campus:
